During sessions games happen every Sunday between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM with a free hour group training session twice a season prior to games.
This isn’t run-of-the-mill directors. It’s mentorship from certified hoopers who’ve done it at the highest levels.

All of our directors stand 6'7"+ and played guard before it was trendy for bigs to have handles. They broke the mold, and now they’re building a new one — for you.
Quinton Stephens brings elite basketball experience from every level of the game. A former Georgia Tech Men's Basketball record holder (Most Games Played) who played professionally with the Charlotte Hornets (Summer League) across Europe (EuroCup) and China, Quinton now serves as a leader at the NBA's top basketball academy, Atlanta Hawks Basketball Academy. His extensive background in designing youth camps and clinics gives him unique insight into player development.
Thornton is a former professional basketball player and standout forward hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. A graduate of Westlake High School, Marcus earned national recognition early in his career as a Mr. Georgia Basketball honoree and Gatorade Player of the Year in 2010. He was a unanimous Top 100 recruit, a 3rd Team Parade All- American, and a multi-year All-State selection, cementing his place among the nation's top high school talent. At the University of Georgia, Marcus was a four-year starter and the heart of the Bulldogs’ frontcourt. Known for his leadership and defensive tenacity, he earned 2nd Team All- SEC honors and was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team.
Marcus was also a three-time team captain and the only two-time recipient of UGA's prestigious ‘The Rock’ Leadership Award during his tenure. Following college, Marcus took his talents overseas, competing professionally with Pistoia Basket in Italy’s Serie A, one of Europe’s top leagues. Today, Marcus brings the same passion, leadership, and discipline that defined his playing career to his role as Co-Founder and Director of Next Play University, where he helps the next generation of athletes prepare for success both on and off the court.
Kendrick is a globally accomplished former professional basketball player and visionary sports development leader. As the Founder of Brotherhood Athletic Firm, Kendrick leverages over a decade of elite-level basketball experience to cultivate the next generation of athletic talent. A native of Atlanta, Georgia and graduate of Joseph E. Wheeler High School, Kendrick was nationally recognized as a McDonald’s All-American, Parade All-American, and Jordan Brand All-American, and notably graced the cover of ESPN for his standout performance and leadership potential.
Kendrick’s professional career spans 8 countries across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, where he not only competed but led his teams to four international championships over the course of eight years. His on-court success, combined with an unwavering commitment to excellence, has earned him recognition as a disciplined competitor and cultural bridge-builder within international basketball communities. FOUNDER, BROTHERHOOD ATHLETIC FIRM At the helm of Brotherhood Athletic Firm, Kendrick pioneers holistic player development models, with a particular emphasis on the transformative power of 3-on-3 basketball as a strategic tool for youth training and skill advancement.

• On the bottom of page under Event Documents. • Print and complete before your first game. • A parent/guardian must sign for each player (subs included). • All players can be on one form or submit individually.
Not here—we focus on matching teams with the best competition. If you’re looking for recognition and prizes, try our one-day tournaments.
We don’t keep standings, but showing up matters. • Have at least 3 registered players for each game. • If short, find subs or staff will help fill in. • If no team can be formed, the present team gets the court for practice.
We don’t directly place players on teams, but we can list them as a Free Agent. Email curator@sixteen06.com with: • League(s) interested in • Player’s gender & graduation year • Phone/email Check your league’s Free Agent section often to connect with other players.
• Email request before registration closes = refund minus $10 admin fee. • Shirt cost also deducted ($40 for t-shirt, $65 for dry-fit). • No refunds after registration closes.
• The Primary Contact will receive a login email (within 3 hours of registering) with access to the Curator@sixteen06atl.com. • Save that email—it’s your key to making changes.
Each team plays two games per day or evening. • Game style: 20-minute running clock, half-court, with a referee keeping score. • Atmosphere: Expect music, concessions, and a lively crowd. • Scheduling: We try to have both your games wrapped up within 90 minutes or less so you can enjoy your day.
Register together as a team. • Team size: Minimum 3 players, maximum 6. • Registration: One parent/guardian (the “Primary Contact”) completes the online form, adds roster info (name, graduation year, shirt size, contact details), and pays the full team fee.
Our rules are designed to keep games fun, competitive, and focused on player growth. • Detailed rules will be given on your first league day with team shirts. • Some sites may have slight variations, but our core principles are the same—play hard, respect the game, have fun.
No formal coaches. • For 3rd & 4th grade teams only, one parent/guardian can help with substitutions on the first play date. • After that, players run their own teams—part of what makes this league unique. • If someone is clearly coaching during games, let the site director know.
Schedules are posted on your league’s web page. • Posted one week at a time, usually 5 days before game day. • This allows us to match teams with the most appropriate competition.
